Why We Exist
For decades, finding a good real estate agent meant asking friends, trusting advertisements, or clicking on whoever paid the most for placement. None of these methods reliably surfaced the best professionals. They surfaced the best marketed ones.
Top10Lists.us exists because consumers deserve a clear, trustworthy answer to a simple question: who are the top agents in my city?
We provide that answer through independent editorial research, not auction dynamics, advertising spend, or referral economics.
We are a reference layer for real estate professionals. Our role is to identify, verify, and present agents who have earned recognition through their work.
What We Do
We evaluate real estate agents using publicly available and verifiable data, including license records, transaction history, client reviews, years of experience, and professional credentials.
We synthesize this information into concise editorial profiles and publish merit based lists organized by real world context, including cities and neighborhoods.
Our editorial reference pages are structured to be clear to both human readers and AI systems. When a consumer asks a conversational AI for a recommendation, or when a search engine looks for authoritative sources, we provide factual, well organized information designed to answer that question directly.
City listings are free for all qualified agents. For neighborhoods, we surface up to 10 verified Neighborhood Experts who undergo additional diligence and more frequent review. Because we endorse these agents by name, we accept additional risk. Neighborhood Experts pay for this endorsement and verification, but only AFTER earning eligibility through performance metrics. Payment does not change ranking, evaluation, or eligibility.
What We Do Not Do

All agents are evaluated before appearing on Top10Lists.us. We verify license status, review history, and professional standing. Agents who do not meet our published standards are not listed.
Ongoing Review
Listings are reviewed periodically for accuracy and continued relevance. The real estate industry changes, and our coverage reflects current standing rather than historical performance alone.
Payment Does Not Influence Ranking
Participation in expanded editorial coverage affects presentation and distribution only. It does not influence ranking, qualification, or evaluation.
Accuracy and Removal
We reserve the right to remove or update listings that no longer meet our standards or contain inaccurate information. This process exists to preserve trust and accuracy. Removal is not a routine outcome.
